The Equipment Manager oversees the day to day process of all company equipment assets. This is to include but not limited to tractors and trailers. The Equipment Manager will be responsible for the on boarding and decommissioning of company equipment. The Equipment Manager will be responsible for all assigned projects.
Manager Equipment (not limited to tractors and trailers) being purchased for the company
Manage to decommissioning of company assets after useful life cycle
Manage selling of company assets utilizing outside vendors
Manage warranty recall programs on company equipment
Coordinate with vendors in order to prepare new equipment (not limited to tractors and trailers) to company standards for unloading into the company
Manage Skybitz program for trailers
Manage inactive equipment to increase utilization
Primary contact for Peoplenet system
Lead process for a Seating Plan for tractors at company locations and over the road
Lead projects to be assigned
Experience Required: 3-5 years
Education Required: Prefer a Bachelor’s, but is not required. Experience can compensate.
Software: TMT or TMW experience would be a huge plus. Not required! Client believes experience in any Maintenance Software program is easily transferrable.
