Positive thinking creates positive living. If you are wanting the environment you are in to be more positive, then be the difference! It all starts with a positive thought.

Research shows that being positive can increase your lifespan, lower levels of distress, increase new skills, and many more side effects. According to Barbra Fredrickson and her “Broaden and Build” theory, positive emotions broaden your sense of possibilities and open your mind, which in turn allows you to build new skills and resources that can provide value in other areas of your life. This goes beyond a smile, its reacting to unpleasant situations in a positive manner and seeing the upsides to situations rather than downsides.

Happiness is both the precursor to success as well as the result. Going into situations with a positive mindset yields positive results most often then not. Learning to see the glass half full could open you up to new opportunities as well as growth.
